Lightning in a Bottle
If you are going to be at Lightning in a Bottle (LIB) this year, be sure to stop by my two classes:
⚡ Fri 9:00 am Loving Kindness Practice: Awakening the Heart @ Oracle Cauldron
According to the Buddha, you can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is to be found nowhere. You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection. In this loving-kindness or metta meditation, we will practice to embrace ourselves in this way - to awaken our heart's capacity (bodhichitta) for unlimited love and compassion. We will wish happiness, good health, safety, ease, and peace towards ourselves and all beings to cultivate a kinder, more loving, and connected world.
⚡️ Sun 10:30 am Liberating Yoga Flow @ Yoga Sol
In this 75-minute class, we will embody liberation and freedom for ourselves in our bodies and minds to connect to our divine Self. Every moment is an opportunity to awaken, mentally and spiritually, to being fully alive and present to be in service to ourselves, each other, and the world. This starts with true self-compassion. This is a grounded and slow vinyasa practice coupled with breathwork, meditation, and yogic philosophy. This class will leave you feeling empowered and at peace. May we all know real peace and be truly liberated!
LIB is a festival and community campout at Buena Vista Lake, CA from May 22 - 27, 2024. In addition to yoga and movement classes, there will be music, art, experiential workshops, community gatherings, and more. This is one of my favorite festivals in the world and I hope to see you there.
